Jose’s Big Day Helps Indians Snap Skid in 13-6 Win over Tigers; Three Takeaways from the Victory

3. Fans Coming Out

It may be just five games, but the Indians faithful are coming out and being more engaged with this team, which is not hard to believe after the team came within a game of winning the World Series.

Thus far five games into the home slate the club is averaging 23,560 (117,804 fans so far), which is up from 19,588 through the first five games of 2016 (97,942).

It’s been documented that the team has already sold quite a few tickets this season, as many so far as it took them till into July to sell last season.

Yes they have scuffled so far at home winning two of their first five, but with warm weather already hitting Northeast Ohio and a team fans are excited to see, expect solid crowds as the year continues to move along and the weather continues to get even better.
