With the Indians splitting a series against the Red Sox, the team will have another test on their hands when the Kansas City comes to town starting Friday night for three matchups.
As of right now, the divisional rival is still competing for one of the wild card spots. The Royals are one game behind.
Also what’s awesome for the weekend is every MLB players will have a chance to wear a jersey with their nickname on the back. This will be the first time Major League Baseball has done this, and with an announced sellout already for Saturday it should make for a fun weekend at Progressive Field.
