Indians Beat Writer Paul Hoynes Admits He Was Wrong; Twitter Has A Field Day

If you’re not familiar with the saga of Paul Hoynes in 2016, it is a tale of despair, hope, and redemption.

Hoynes declared the Indians’ hopes of having a successful postseason dead and buried on Sept. 17.

He received criticism from fans and even players, like Jason Kipnis and Trevor Bauer.

The Indians proved all the doubters wrong, including Hoynsie, with a three-game sweep over the Red Sox.

Now they have home field advantage for the rest of the playoffs and host the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS.

All of this led Hoynes to make the following revelation.

It takes a big person to admit a mistake.

It then takes the world of Twitter five seconds to remind the person of that mistake in a hilarious manner.
