Indians Back in Goodyear to Take on the Reds with Kluber on the Mound, The Tribe Starting Nine

Saturday the Indians stayed hot as they topped the Los Angeles Angels 7-2, the win their 8th in their last 10 spring training games.

Mike Clevinger moved to 2-0 on the spring, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out four to earn the victory.

On the offensive side, it was Jake Bauers and Jordan Luplow getting RBI’s early in the game, and then later on Oscar Mercado, Roberto Perez, Brandon Barnes and Mike Freeman all added clutch hits to put the game away.

Today the Tribe is back at Goodyear Ballpark for a 4:05pm meeting with the Cincinnati Reds, the Indians will be the visitors in today’s game.

Corey Kluber (0-0, 7.36) gets the call for his second start of the spring for the Indians, and he will go up agianst Luis Castillo (0-2, 17.36) of the Reds.

The game will be broadcast on SportsTime Ohio, WTAM 1100 and the Indians Radio Network.
