5.) Baron Corbin gets a new opponent

Baron Corbin finally gets a different opponent outside of Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder. Ryder loses to Corbin but looks good.

4.) Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens heating up

Battleground will probably have these two in a singles match. Fighting backstage was something fresh and different.

3.) Return in the Women’s Division

Charlotte has to defend her Women’s Championship after losing to Paige last week. Paige loses in a great match. Dana Brooke and Charlotte beat down Paige post match until Sasha Banks music hits. End of the segment, Banks holds up the Women’s Championship and the crowd goes crazy.

2.) The Club apologizes to John Cena and AJ Styles

With The Club interfering in their singles match , Styles asks The Club to apologize to Cena and himself. Cena tells AJ that his problem is that he isn’t a man that follows his word. Styles tells Cena can choose any member of The Club except Styles, this leads to Cena vs Karl Anderson.

Triple Threat is set when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns ends with a double count out. Shane McMahon comes out and says that we need a new #1 Contender, Ambrose says I’ll take them both on in the same night. Shane says I’ll do you one better and it’ll be at the time.
Shield Reunion! Triple Threat is set for Battleground, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
