Five Takeaways from the Browns 30-9 Loss to the Steelers

Jim O'Neil

2. Make a Statement – Fire DC Jim O’Neil Now

This defense is terrible. They allowed a quarterback that was playing on one foot to throw for 379 and three touchdowns, and all day long it seemed that Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant were able to get past Browns defensive backs all day long for big plays downfield. Sure the Browns run defense played well, but who cares when you let Ben Roethlisberger throw all day and hit wide outs and tight ends who seemed to be wide open. O’Neil has had all season to get this team on track, and he’s failed. Show him the door and let’s see if it give the unit a spark.
