Berea-Midpark Wins 46-44 Nail-Biter Over Midview

Jalen Dixon and Dwayne Holland led Berea-Midpark with 12 and 10 points respectively and Angelo Svigelj-Smith’s made bucket with seconds left iced the Titans 46-44 win over Midview on Friday night.

The Titans held a 32-20 lead at the half. Midview attempted a tremendous comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Titans 16-8 in the final frame. However, the ball handling of Dixon and junior Omar Siggers was enough to withstand the Middie pressure and pull out the victory.

JV Result – Win – (50-36) – The Titans victory over Midview now has the boys on a three game winning streak. ShaDaryll Clark lead the Titans with 13 on the evening, while freshmen Alex Kvak contributed 10 points.

9th Result – Win – (46-31) – Winners of four of their last five games, the freshmen have grown quickly in the beginning of the season. Andrew Petkac was the high scorer for the Titans on the afternoon recording 14 points, while Dominic Zarzycki-Hall chipped in 10.
