The WWE has announced two shocking suspensions today.
Earlier today, Alberto Del Rio was suspended 30 days for his first violation of the wellness policy. Jóse Rodriguez will be unable to compete until about September 16. This is a big blow to Smackdown, who loses a veteran on the roster for the time being. There had been talks of Del Rio leaving the company this year, so last night might be the final time we see Del Rio in the company.
Later today, Saraya Jade-Bevis, also known as Paige, was also suspended 30 days for violating the talent wellness policy. Paige has had trouble making an impact on the WWE’s new era and this certainly is a bad look for her. Today is also her 24th birthday.
Tough times for these two superstars.
