Aggressive Browns Put Away the Panthers 26-20; Move to 5-7-1 – Five Takeaways

5. Lots to Play For

While it’s forbidden for people to say the “P” word, the Browns still have a very outside shot to make the postseason for the first time in what seems like forever.

Yes the team will have to win in a tough place to play next week in Denver on Saturday night against the Broncos, and the host the Bengals before going to Baltimore to finish the year against the Ravens.

While one loss is going to basically end the year for the Browns in hopes of the playoffs, the team can still sneak in with three wins and multiple losses by a couple teams – the Ravens, Titans, Colts and Dolphins.

It’s not going to be easy, but hey – it’s week 14 and the Browns are in a mix – did you ever think the way this season has gone, from 2-2-1, to 2-6-1, to 5-7-1 – meaning they have won 3 of their last five.

No matter what, it’s been fun, and this is an exciting team that looks to be going places quickly.
