Aggressive Browns Put Away the Panthers 26-20; Move to 5-7-1 – Five Takeaways

3. Flag Fest

Both teams seemed to have huge penalties at key moments during the Browns six-point win over the Panthers, as the two teams combined for 17 penalties for 120 yards.

Walt Coleman and his crew seemed to feel they were getting paid by the yellow laundry on the field, with the Browns collecting 7 penalties for 52 yards, and Carolina having 10 penalties for 68 yards.

The NFL is a long game and at times hard to watch, but it was frustrating watching flag after flag on Sunday, and while very much some of them were legit flags, there were a number that were weak to say the least.

The way the NFL seems to go, one week your team will have 10 flags, the next it’ll have 3-4. Let’s see how next week in Denver goes.
