Aggressive Browns Put Away the Panthers 26-20; Move to 5-7-1 – Five Takeaways

1. Baker’s Big Day

Browns rookie QB Baker Mayfield had another great game, throwing 18-for-22 for 238 yards with a touchdown. He started the game with a 66-yard throw to Breshad Perriman that got the Browns going, and never looked back.

He took chances down the field, and it paid off with a huge 51-yard TD catch to Jarvis Landry that tied the game, and he scrambled out of the pocket and was accurate in doing it.

Mayfield has thrown for 2639 yards this season, 18 touchdowns and 10 picks. He was aggressive with the ball, but also didn’t turn it over which was huge in the win.
