6 Players to Watch at this week’s NFL Combine

Goff

Jared Goff QB California
I still have Goff as my number one QB and he has a chance to prove it this week. Most of those concerns haven’t been because of him but rather because of Wentz. Wentz has ridden his hype train from coming back from injury to winning the FCS Championship and being among the top performers at the Senior Bowl. A lot of people have fallen in love with him. At the same time Goff has done nothing to move down on my board. He couldn’t participate in the Senior Bowl so the Combine is his first chance to shine. Among the top QB’s, his size, especially his hands are the most questionable of the three. He also plans on participating in all of the drills at the Combine. If he can measure in well and make the throws he needs to during drills, I think he brings himself back in front of Wentz for some people as the top QB. If he doesn’t or Wentz truly outshines him, his stock may start to tumble a little.
