2. Clevinger’s Detroit Dominance

Mike Clevinger had another strong outing against the Tigers. He is now 4-0 with a 0.76 ERA against Detroit for the season.

On Wednesday he gave up six hits, one earned run and two walks. He also struck out six batters in his five and two-thirds innings of work.

During the win streak, Clevinger is now 4-0 with a 0.38 ERA, and has also held opponents to a .186 batting average. The starting pitchers have combined for 19 wins during this stretch.

Clevinger is now 10-5 for the year.
