2018 NFL Draft Team Grades

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Grade: B

Tampa went all in on fixing the defensive line this year. While it seemed like a defensive back would be the pick in the first round they surprised everyone going with Vea. That unit is now strong all the way around and they used two second round picks to sure up the CB position. Ronald Jones can be a game breaker at RB but unfortunately might be too lean to be a reliable every down back. Cappa will fill a hole at guard and Whitehead at safety. Overall it was a solid draft.

Tennessee Titans
Grade: B

Tennessee walked out of the draft with only four picks. They traded up to get Evans and Landry which filled the two biggest holes on a team that doesn’t seem to have a lot of holes but just needs talent to develop. Without much else the grade pretty much relies on those two.

Washington Redskins
Grade: B

Washington worked on fixing their run game on defense and offense with Da’Ron Payne, Tim Settle, Derrius Guice, and Geron Christian. Those were the biggest holes and they addressed them. Trey Quinn might be a sleeper as a slot WR late and Hamilton is a nice LB for the sixth round. The only thing hurting them is the secondary was weak coming in and will stay that way coming out as Apke should have gone later than the fourth round.
