CLEVELAND– Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson will likely miss a month after suffering a left calf strain in last night’s 124-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

The Cavs announces via a release that Thompson underwent an MRI that confirmed the strain, and will miss between three and four weeks. The Vertical was the first outlet to report that he would likely be out for a month.

Following the game last night, Thompson left Quicken Loans Arena on crutches.

Last night, the 6-foot-10 center scored two points and grabbed seven boards before going down at the end of the first half. He has gotten off to slow start this season, averaging 4.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in 22.6 minutes, all career lows.
