Star Wars Characters – As Played by Members of the Cleveland Browns

Unless you have been under a rock or haven’t turned on a television in the last month (or four for that matter), you are aware that Thursday night Sci-Fi and Star Wars fans across the country will be lined up at movie theaters to see the latest Star Wars movie – ‘The Force Awakens.’

It’s been 10 years since the last original Star Wars movie was released, and there’s added momentum for this movie, as the original characters will be back for the 7th edition, including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.

Today we’re going to have a little fun, taking the characters of the Star Wars series and seeing just who from the Browns organization would play them.

A little alternate universe if you will – taking some of the characters of the Browns over their history and putting them in the roles of the famous Star Wars characters – enjoy!

Palpatine (also known as Darth Sidious)

Palpatine was a Force-sensitive Human male who served as the last Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic and the first Emperor of the Galactic Empire. A Dark Lord of the Sith in the Order of the Sith Lords, recorded by history as the most powerful who had ever lived, his entire life was the culmination of a thousand-year plan to overthrow the Republic and the Jedi Order from within.

Art Modell

Played by the late and former Browns Owner Art Modell

To this day he’s still hated by Browns fans worldwide for the traitor act of 1995 when he stood on a stage in Baltimore and announced he was ripping the heart out of Cleveland by moving the franchise. Modell is Palpatine in every way – powerful in that he owned the team and killed Browns football for three long dark years in Cleveland. Despite his death three years ago, there’s still not much good ever said about Modell.
