PREVIEW: Indians take on Red Sox in potential playoff preview

1. Can Kluber keep rolling?

Corey Kluber has been dealing over his last four starts: he’s got a 3-0 record and a 1.78 ERA. For his career against the Red Sox, however, Kluber holds a 2-4 record with a 4.45 ERA. In four career starts at Fenway, he’s gone 1-1 with a 3.96 ERA.

During his last start against Boston on Aug. 23, 2017, Kluber gave up two runs on four hits while striking out 12 through 7 2/3 innings. The Tribe went on to lose the game 6-1 in what was their final loss before their 22-game win streak.

Porcello is 7-2 in his last 10 starts and holds a 10-4 record with a 3.35 ERA in 22 career starts against the Indians. Last time out against the Phillies, he allowed two hits and one run while striking out 10.
