Make no bones about it, all eyes are going to be on the Tribe ace during this game. Kluber is coming off a loss against the Pirates on Monday in his first start post All-Star Break (and post knee injection). In just four innings, he gave up seven runs (three earned) in the Tribe’s 7-0 loss. The ace has been had a rough pair of starts, holding a 7.15 ERA over his lass 11 1/3 innings.

The good news for Kluber ahead of Sunday’s contest is his success against Detroit this season. Over two starts, the reigning AL Cy Young winner has gone 16 innings, and allowed just two earned runs while amassing 21 strikeouts.

He’ll be facing off against Jordan Zimmermann, who is coming off a start against the Royals on Tuesday in which he gave up 4 runs in the Tigers’ 5-4 loss.
