Preview: Clevinger Takes the Mound as Indians and Royals Tangle in Kansas City

Thursday night the Indians were 2-1 losers in what’s becoming a trend for the team as of late, playing in extra innings.

Josh Tomlin made what might be his final start of his career with the Indians, and it was a shame that in looking good he didn’t get any run support outside of a first run sac fly by Jose Ramirez which scored Francisco Lindor.

Tonight it’s Mike Clevinger, who is in line to start game three of the ALDS at home against the Houston Astros making the start, as he will look for his 13th win of the season.

Ian Kennedy goes for the Royals, a pitcher who had his best start of 2018 early in the season against the Tribe.

Here’s a look at the breakdown against the Royals.
