Players to Love and Hate in Week Two Of Fantasy Football

Loves:

QB Drew Brees NO $8,900

As I said earlier, if Mariota can throw for four TDs so can Brees. The Bucs were the worst team in the NFL for a reason, expect a big day from Brees.

QB Ryan Tannehill MIA $8,000

Miami struggled to run the ball last week and they are facing a bad Jacksonville team. With the new weapons getting another week to adjust, expect more to come from Tannehill.

RB Demarco Murray PHI $8,300

He had a poor performance last week only rushing for eight yards but he also did pick up two scores as well. Getting an opportunity to play his former team I expect him to come out energized and poised for a big game.

RB Chris Johnson ARI $5,700

With Ellington out, Chris Johnson will get the starting touches for Arizona. He was the only other RB besides Ellington to get carries last week and even though David Johnson got the long TD, he wasn’t even a factor until the final drive. I’m taking Johnson for the bulk of the carries against a defense switching to a 3-4 that doesn’t have the pieces to fit.

RB Duke Johnson CLE $5,500

Might be a little bit of a stretch here especially with two QBs leading the team for the Browns in rushing yards last week, but they also faced a strong Jets D-line. I’m sure the Browns don’t want to be embarrassed like that again especially at home to the Titans, and with Manziel as the starter I expect them to try and pound the ball early to ease the load on the young quarterback.

WR Julian Edelman NE $7,300

Rex Ryan defenses have always fared well against the Patriots and with that Buffalo D it’s not going to be an easy game for the Patriots. However, most of the attention will be faced on stopping Gronk, and I think we will see consistent double teams on him all day. This could leave more room for Edelman who was the leading target getter last week with 12 and caught 11 of them.

WR John Brown ARI $6,200

Brown has had major chemistry with Palmer and has four TDs in seven games with him. Starting anybody against the Chicago D is also a huge plus.

WR Stevie Johnson SD $5,700

Stevie Johnson only got six targets last week but really came out in the fourth quarter. With Keenan Allen’s monster performance last week, Johnson can fly under the radar and have a nice game as a value pick.

TE Zach Ertz PHI $5,200

Ertz looked healthy last week and facing a banged up Dallas defense this week. With nine targets last week, Ertz can provide some value to a weak TE position.

D Dolphins $5,100

Miami spent a lot of money in the offseason on Suh and improving the defense. They are the best defense this week going up against the must start against offenses in Jacksonville.
