NPSL Champions AFC Cleveland to Hold Open Tryouts

Independence, OH- February 27, 2017

The AFC Cleveland Royals look to bolster the 2017 squad to join the many returning stars from last year. Exciting new talent is welcome as the Royals prepare for their first match May 10 in the U.S. Open Cup, and begin the quest for a second NPSL title at home on May 13 against the Dayton Dynamo.

Coach Mike Sesar is hosting his first tryouts session April 30, 2017 at 7p.m. The address is 6001 Archwood Rd. Independence, OH on the same field the players are hosting their 2016 championship defense. The 2017 tryouts do require a registration fee of $40 that includes a T-shirt. All entrants are expected to bring their own gear including, but not limited to, socks and shin pads. The dream to play with champions is available for all skill sets and positions but it’s happening very soon.
