It’s been too long friend. Hope your days are filled with joy like mine, especially now with the MLB Postseason under way and our Cleveland Guardians waiting to see who their opponent will be starting Saturday at Progressive Field. I should have added “SOLD OUT” Progressive field after seeing row after row, section after section of empty seats in the Braves’ ballpark this afternoon. I spoke to many friends and a cousin in the ATL and All I got were excuses. Enough of that.
I need to tackle something very heavy and must share some thoughts with you. Agree or disagree, we always can discuss topics whether we agree or not. I am certain that by now all or darn near close to all of us are aware of a disgusting and offending incident to anyone who walks upright (at least IT SHOULD)…the heinous attack on a coed at a Frat party at Cornell University, a historic Ivy League research university. To what laws do 7 men (I use that term loosely) adhere to as they sexually assaulted an incapacitated through drugs and alcohol female student? After they had their perverted pleasures they invited others at their house to take part in this sick, sordid attack.
I have seen posts and fielded inquiries on how this can possibly happen. Please, take a deep breath, and face the realities. Our culture allows this to happen and turns a blind eye toward deviant behavior against women especially by those held in high esteem for what they could still accomplish in their trade. How could this be true? No need to look any farther than the cult supporting the professional team in NE Ohio. The QB of their team preyed on and abused dozens of women, massage therapists he visited, but since the team has won 2 in a row “all is forgiven.” WHAT? That is morbid to say the least however it is ok…win games and you are cool with us. My gosh, are we the Roman Empire which of course crashed and burned. So, praise and cheer for a creature who took advantage of females, and you wonder how the incident at Cornell, or other assaults on women take place AND ARE CONDONED? Pretty sad and simple to me. I hope it would be for you too.
