NFL Draft: The Browns Need One if not many Wide Receivers – Who SHOULD it Be?

Josh Doctson

Josh Doctson – TCU

23 years old, 6’ 2”, 200 lbs, 32 in. arm length, 41 in. vertical, 4.5 dash

Career (2011, 2013-2015): 214 receptions for 3,177 yards and 34 rec TDs, 15 avg

2014 ranked 1st in Big 12 in rec TDs (11) and 2nd in 2015 (14). Doctson ended his freshman season at Wyoming prematurely, for family reasons, and walked-on to TCU’s roster. Scouts like Doctson for his resilience and consistency.

One of the top guys in terms of hands, plenty of catches over his career especially at TCU. Needs to put on more muscle but not lose his quickness. Some could say also had a good QB throwing him the ball in Heisman Candidate Trevone Boykin. I project a second round pick, early 3rd. I would be surprised if he made it to the 3rd round.
