NEOSI’s Busts For 2018 NFL Draft

DE Arden Key LSU

Once again it is hard to come up with a lot of busts towards the top of the draft because they are being selected high for a reason. Key is another name that I can see going early in round two or falling into the fourth round. LSU seems to continue to produce these undersized hybrid pass rushers but the NFL success seems to lack from those guys. While he tore it up early during his time at LSU he struggled down the stretch between staying healthy, a question in his commitment to the game and work ethic, and a decline in his stats. As more of a one trick pony being a pure pass rusher, he needs a high motor 24/7. I’m not sure you will get that from him and he didn’t stand out among other pass rushers athletically at the combine.
