NEO Sports Insiders 2018 NFL Mock Draft 1.0

8.) Trade* Washington Redskins- Minkah Fitzpatrick S Alabama

Fitzpatrick is too good of a player to keep sliding down the board and somebody should want to move up to get him. Washington wouldn’t have to move too far and can really use a boost to their secondary.

9.) San Francisco 49ers- Denzel Ward CB Ohio State

The 49ers can look between LB and CB here but I think the upgrade at corner is more needed. Marshon Lattimore came out right around here from the same school last year to be one of the top rookies. The 49ers can hope for the same luck.

10.) Oakland Raiders- Roquan Smith LB Georgia

The Raiders defense needs some help. Smith is a guy that can cover the entire field and make plays across the board. Gruden likes football guys and Smith has the look of a Raider.

11.) Miami Dolphins- Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech

Miami has a lot of needs but not a lot of value for those needs at this position. Linebacker does need to get upgraded with injury problems and age. Edwards can add the pass rush form the position too and becomes more of a value pick that a need one here.

12.) Cincinnati Bengals- Mike McGlinchey OT Notre Dame

Free agency hurt the Bengals line last year and they need to build it back up. Grabbing a LT to replace Whitworth should be the safe pick.
