NEO Sports Insiders 2016 NFL Mock Draft V2

Andrew Billings

27.) Green Bay Packers- Andrew Billings DT Baylor
B.J Raji is a free agent and is getting older. The Packers need another guy up front to help get some push up front on the defensive line.
Previous: Jarran Reed DT Alabama

28.) Kansas City Chiefs- Leonard Floyd DE/OLB Georgia
As good of a defense as Kansas City had this year, they have a ton of players set to hit free agency. I’m not sure how many of them they will be able to keep and which ones will get priority. Tamba Hali is 32, so a young pass rusher to go across from Justin Houston may be a starting point.
Previous: Jason Spriggs OT Indiana

29.) Arizona Cardinals- Jaylon Smith LB Notre Dame
It’s hard to find a spot for maybe the biggest wildcard in the draft right now. There was a report out of the Combine that said he did suffer some nerve damage from his injury during his medical reviews while he said he did not. Some teams red flagging him means he can slip but how far is anyones guess. The Cardinals are a team that does not have a lot of needs and may take a chance on getting a top five player with a late first rounder even if he sits out this season.
Previous: Jonathan Bullard DE Florida

30.) Carolina Panthers- Vernon Butler DT Louisiana Tech
Kawann Short and Star Lotulelei are both free agents after this season. Carolina likely will not be able to afford to keep both. In a draft loaded with talented DTs, they can find a possible replacement for one of them.
Previous: Michael Thomas WR Ohio State

31.) Denver Broncos- Cody Whitehair OG Kansas State
The Broncos will get their OTs back next season but the line still has some problems. Whitehair can come in and start at guard and give whoever the QB is next year some added protection.
