Game on on WEOL features Firelands at Vermilion. The Falcons dropped their first game of the season to Edison, before getting back to their winning ways with a 51-8 victory over the Brooklyn Hurricanes. Logan Strader set the pace for Firelands by running the opening kick off back 60 yards for the games first score. Firealands never looked back after that.
The Vermilion Sailors are 2-0 on the season after picking up impressive wins over Clearview and Fairview. In the Sailors week two win over the Warriors both Seth Hurd and Caine Zannoni rushed into the endzone for a pair of touchdowns. Pregame begins at 6:30pm.

Game two will showcase the Eagles of North Olmsted at Avon. Despite early season injuries, Avon has powered it’s way to a 2-0 record. Last week Avon opened up Southwestern Conference play with an impressive 31-7 win over their rivals from Avon Lake. Avon did most of their damage in the second half of the game scoring three third quarter touchdowns in the victory.
North Olmsted enters week two coming off of a tough 41-6 loss to Midview. However, North Olmsted should feel at home this week having played their previous two games at Avon High due to the construction of their home field. Pregame begins at 6:30pm.
