LeBron James named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

CLEVELAND– LeBron James has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for an NBA-record 58th time.

Over four games during the last week, the Cavaliers have gone 4-0 as they continue their 11-game win streak. During that stretch, James averaged 27.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 block. He registered a double-double and scored at least 20 points in all four games as well, while shooting .597  from the field and .368 from three-point range.

In the Eastern Conference, James ranked first in double-doubles, assists per game, and field goals made during the last week.

In the Western Conference, the Houston Rockets’ James Harden took home Player of the Week honors.

James will look to continue the tear he has been on as the Cavs take on the Chicago Bulls tonight at 8 p.m.
