Kluber Throws a Complete Game Shutout as Indians Erupt for 12 runs, Three Takeaways from 12-0 Victory

2.) Corey Kluber was Nearly Unhittable 

Corey Kluber had excellent stuff during tonight’s game against the Orioles. Kluber only allowed three hits in the ballgame and did not allow a runner to go past first base.

At one point in the ballgame, Kluber had retired 15 consecutive batters in a row.

Kluber earned his 6th victory on the season following a complete game shutout.

Kluber pitched 9 innings, allowed 3 hits, walked nobody, and struck out 11 batters. Kluber earned his second shutout of the season tonight. Following the shutout, Kluber is now tied with Minnesota’s Ervin Santana for most shutouts this season.

Kluber has tossed 12 career complete games and has 5 career shutouts.

Kluber coninutes to look excellent since coming off the disbaled list.
