Kluber Back In a Big Way, Indians Dominate A’s 8-0; Three Takeaways From the Win

CLEVELAND – While they had one hiccup over the last four days, the Indians did what they should have done otherwise, taking care of business against a very bad Oakland A’s team that from a defensive standpoint is flat out tough to watch.

Thursday in the return to the mound for Indians ace Corey Kluber, the A’s again were their own worst enemy, committing three more errors in the runaway 8-0 Tribe win.

Kluber was very good in his comeback to the mound, going six innings which was the plan, not allowing a run on just a pair of hits.

The Tribe will head on the road for a short five-game road trip before they come back to Progressive Field to host the White Sox and Dodgers in a homestand that will kickoff next Friday.

Here’s three takeaways from today’s big win for the Tribe to move to 28-24 thus far in 2017.
