James Dominates Early; Cavs Even Up Best of Seven Against Pacers with 100-97 Win in Game 2

1. Lonely Kingdom

As mentioned above, James played a fantastic game from start to finish, as his final stat line read 46 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The problem was James didn’t have much help. Quickly looking through the box scor,e one might suspect that the Cavs had a balanced approach on offense as everyone who entered the game was able to score at least two points.

If you look a little bit deeper though, you can see that besides James’ 46 there were only two other Cavaliers in double figures, Kyle Korver with 12 and Kevin Love with 15. The next closest Cavs player was George Hill with six points, and he didn’t even reach that mark until midway through the fourth quarter.

In order for the Cavaliers to win this series the rest of the team needs to play better on both sides of the ball.
