LeBron James Sets Record Straight About Question Regarding the Passing of Erin Popovich

There was social media outrage by some Wednesday night after LeBron James was hit with a question following the Cavs 100-97 win about the sudden passing early Wednesday of Erin Popovich, the wife of Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.

The question was asked by Cleveland native Allie LaForce, who has interviewed James plenty of times, but some felt that LeBron was blindsided by the question and didn’t even know that Popovich had passed.

James, who led all scores with 46 points in the three-point win, set the record straight following the game, stating that he was prepped about the question, his emotions got the best of him, and that LaForce was just doing her job.
