Indians Walk-Off in 4-3 Extra Frames Win Over Red Sox; Three Takeaways

1. A Fun, Albeit Long, Three Days

The Indians and Red Sox have bigger fish to fry with both teams eyeing the World Series, but they might just have to get past each other in the ALCS, and as Terry Francona put it after the win, if this game was played in a couple weeks, it would be a classic.

There were a lot of twists and turns over the weekend at Progressive Field, but the big thing is both teams played hard with nothing to play for, and in the end the Indians won two of three, and actually win the season series with the Red Sox four games to three.

It was fun to see these two teams like two heavyweight fighters go at it for three games, and in the thee games the two teams each scored 14 runs.

If these two teams do meet in the ALCS, it could be a seven game classic for sure with the firepower each team has.
