Indians Starter Carlos Carrasco Exits Affair with Royals After Getting Hit in the Leg By Line Drive

Indians number two starter Carlos Carrasco left Wednesday’s Spring Training game against the Kansas City Royals after getting hit on the left leg by a line drive.

The injury came during a tough outing for the Tribe starer, who is also celebrating his 31st birthday today as well. Carrasco was given a 6-0 lead by the Indians offense after three innings, but allowed six Royals runs to tie the game up.

On the night Carrasco went 4.2 innings, allowing six runs on nine hits with a walk, no strikeouts and two homers allowed. We’ll have a further update on Carrasco’s injury once there’s news on the injury.
