Indians Fall To Angels, 13-2; Three Takeaways From The Loss

2. Ohtani Impresses– Japanese sensation Shohei Ohtani continues to have success as a designated hitter early into his MLB career. Batting .444 after going 3-for-4 on Tuesday night, Ohtani showed off some power in his first home game as a member of the Angels organization.

Ohtani blasted a three-run home run early on and accounted for five runs on the night, coming across home plate twice. The most remarkable aspect of Ohtani’s game tonight was the fact that he only struck out once, showing how good of an eye he has at the dish. Moving forward, the Angels will definitely keep an eye on how Ohtani handles starting every five days along with being their designated hitter.
