Indians Acquire Right-Handed Reliever Oliver Drake From Brewers

The Cleveland Indians have acquired right-handed reliever Oliver Drake from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations, multiple sources reported on Saturday.

Drake has appeared in eleven games this season for the Brewers, throwing in 12.2 innings. He has a a 1-0 record in relief as well as a 6.39 ERA. Drake also features a strikeout/walk ratio of 15/8.

The acquisition of Drake comes at a dire time, as the Cleveland bullpen has been spent over the last week.
