Cleveland Monsters’ John Ramage Receives Honor

Monsters assistant captain posted four points, +4 rating in pair of Cleveland victories.

Congratulations to John Ramage. After an action packed week of Monsters hockey before the Christmas break, The AHL named John Ramage of Cleveland, The AHL Player of the Week for his performance in their matchups with The Charlotte Checkers.

Ramage has played in 22 games this season with 2 goals and 7 assists for 9 points. He also has 53 shots and 16 penalty minutes.

Ramage posted 8-19-27 with 67 penalty minutes and a +5 rating in 68 regular-season appearances for Lake Erie (AHL) during 2015-16 campaign…Helped Lake Erie claim 2016 Calder Cup as AHL Playoff Champions despite appearing in just one postseason game due to a season-ending shoulder injury.

Ramage will be presented with an etched glass trophy in a pregame ceremony in an upcoming Monsters game to be announced.
