Browns sign WR Ed Eagan

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed WR Ed Eagan. The team also waived/injured WR Rannell Hall and reached an injury settlement with DL Kyle Rose.

Eagan is a 5-10, 192 pound rookie out of Northwestern State. Originally signed by Dallas as an undrafted free agent on May 6, he was waived on Aug. 10. Eagan finished his career as Northwestern State’s all-time leader in receptions (177) and receiving yards (2,228). A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he graduated from Holy Cross High School.

Hall, who appeared in one game with the Browns in 2015, fractured his fibula during the preseason opener in Green Bay on Friday.
