Bauer Rocked, Tribe Bats Mostly Silent in 7-6 Loss to Tigers: Three Takeaways From the Loss

1. The first inning gets a little chippy

Home plate umpire Clint Fagan warned both benches after Tigers first basemen Miguel Cabrera starting barking at the Indians when the first inning concluded. Trevor Bauer pitched to Cabrera a high heater up and in during his first at-bat, making the Tigers slugger none too happy.

Both managers came out on the field looking for an explanation but the game went smooth from that point going forward.

The same teams will continue their three-game series on Saturday as they go on national television on Fox Sports One. The Indians will have Corey Kluber on the mound as Justin Verlander will pitch for the Tigers.

First pitch is set for 4:10
