5 Potential Browns Head Coaches We Would Like To See In 2019

1.) Lincoln Riley Head Coach Oklahoma

Lincoln Riley is the sexy name that is not going to go away until the coaching search is over. Riley has served up some of the top offenses in college football during his time at Texas Tech, ECU, and Oklahoma. After the retirement of Bob Stoops at Oklahoma Riley was thrust into the role of head coach and led Oklahoma to the Rose Bowl in his first season.

The obvious connection for Browns fans is he coached Baker Mayfield during his Heisman winning season at Oklahoma. To reunite the two in Cleveland could possibly bring back the same success they had at the collegiate level on a higher stage.

The issue is going to be convincing Riley to leave a high profile collegiate program where he has had success after just two seasons to join one of the most dysfunction NFL franchises. If Baker and the lure of the NFL is enough to convince him, Riley will be on the shortlist.
