What Fantasy Football Players to Buy and Sell 1/3 Into the 2015 Season

RB Dion Lewis NE
He’s been among the biggest surprises this year really coming out of nowhere. He’s brought the most value from his ability to catch passes. However we are getting closer to LaFell returning from the PUP which will add another target to take away some receptions from Lewis. Belichick could also just switch his mind at running back like he’s shown in the past. I’m cashing in for a more reliable option.

RB Matt Forte CHI
I’m a little guilty here because I’ve been holding onto him even though I have him as a trade candidate. The only reason why I have him here is if you feel he will be traded. He’s in the last year of his contract for a rebuilding Bears team. If he gets dealt it may be to a team like Denver or Miami who have really struggled on the ground this year. That would hurt his value. If he stays in Chicago than I absolutely love keeping him for his ability to get runs and catch passes.

RB Doug Martin TB
He’s just so inconsistent. He looked good in the preseason, then struggled the first couple weeks and then has been on a tear the last two. It’s just so hard what to expect out of him each week with an offensive line that is among the worst in the NFL. They also have a young running back in Sims that is more a factor in pass catching and can get more work if Martin struggles. I would capitalize on his value now.

RB Lamar Miller MIA
Another guy that I really like preseason that has yet to show up. I think part of it is the fact that the Dolphins have been so bad defensively that they are being seriously outsnapped. The other problem is the fact that he has just been ineffective on the ground when he’s had chances. I would wait and see with the new coach if they try and revive the run game this week. If not, abandon ship.
