LET DESHONE KIZER TAKE EVERY SNAP THE REST OF THE SEASON AS YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE
Last but not least, pick a quarterback and go with it! Earlier this season Jackson boasted how Kizer was the first player to the facility each day, and the last player to leave. Now Jackson claims that Kizer is being punished for partying all night long on Friday. Whatever the case may be, Jackson needs to get a handle on it and quickly! We all saw how quickly Manziel washed out of the league.
The Browns no longer have their All Pro Left Tackle Joe Thomas, maybe gone for the season. They need a mobile quarterback, they need someone who can move out of the pocket and doesn’t get hurt every time he is sacked. They need Deshone Kizer.
Yes, I’m not blind, that stats are awful. Kizer only has 3 touchdowns passing with double digit interceptions this season. He has also fumbled it twice as well. But, what harm is letting the kid play going to do? Kessler will not make it through 2 games without Joe Thomas blocking for him. Give Kizer the ball, let him take every snap like you said you would. Ride the highs and lows like you said you would, and see what the kid has!
If you don’t think Kizer is the franchise, fine, right about now I don’t think anyone does. But constantly yanking him out of games isn’t going to help anyone or anything. Leave him in, let him learn and see what you have. Enough is enough already. If your sole focus was winning games, then you should have kept Osweiler or McCown.
The Browns needs to do a lot more then these three things, but at least it is a start!
