Swaggy C’s Going for Two: Week 10 NFL Fanduel Breakdown

QB

Matt Stafford $8,200

My first QB is Matt Stafford. He is facing the Browns this week at home. In order for the Lions to win this game, which is projected to happen easily, they will need to score a few touchdowns in the air. Cleveland has one of the best run stopping defenses in the league so aslong as they keep that up Stafford will have to do damage himself, which I see happening.

Josh McCown $7,400

McCown is my second QB I like this week. The Jets are on the road against the Buccaneers. McCown hasn’t looked bad this year and has put up some good fantasy numbers. Out of the nine games he’s played this year he only has had one game where he produced under 10 FDP and that was against the tough Jaguars DST. Tampa Bay has given up 27 FDP to Eli Manning and 20 FDP to Tyrod Taylor this year. Look for McCown to do the same.

RB

Leonard Fournette $8,700

Fournette is coming off three weeks rest so he should be well rested and ready to tear up the Chargers defense today. The Chargers run defense ranks 31st in the league this year. Before Fournette got hurt, then went on his bye, and then got suspended he averaged over a touchdown a game and 20.45 FDP. Look for him to take advantage of the Chargers weak run defense.

Devonta Freeman $6,500

Freeman’s price is hard to pass up when he is playing in the highest over/under on the slate. This Falcons offense should get hot sooner or later and today may be the day. The Cowboys rank in the middle of the pack on defense. Freeman looks to be healthy this week so Coleman should lose some touches and we will look to see if this Atlanta’s offense turns up the offense this week with Freeman leading the way.

WR

Golden Tate $7,400

Golden Tate is a play to match up with Stafford. Like I discussed, you can’t target the Browns on the ground so if you plan to beat them, through the air is the answer. I choose Tate over Jones Jr because Tate runs the slot with many TE like routes whereas Jones runs on the outside and he should be covered by Jason McCourty who is the 3rd best CB this year when you look at the numbers. Eric Ebron and Theo Riddick really haven’t been involved this year so look to Tate to lead the passing attack with Stafford.

Robby Anderson $ 6,500

Just like Tate was paired with Stafford, Anderson is paired with McCown. Anderson’s price is pretty reasonable when you look at his past month of production. He averages just over 13 FDP in his last 4 games. I like him the same reasons I like McCown, the Jets don’t have to many options and he has been pretty reliable. McCown to Anderson should connect on a few passes and a touchdown today against the Bucs.

TE

Kyle Rudolph $5,400

Rudolph is facing off against the Washington Redskins on the road today. Rudolph has looked good recently putting up solid numbers. The Redskins are in the bottom four of the league when it comes to stopping TEs this season. Look for the Vikings to exploit this matchup and target Rudolph steadily today.

Garrett  Celek $4,500

Celek is a risky play so I would only recommend him in tournaments. With George Kittle being out, Celek should be the main man to step up and take that spot. The Giants are dead last when it comes to stopping TEs. Celek couldn’t ask for a better match up today. I love his spot and potential in todays game in a matchup of two teams with only one combined win this season.

DST

LA Rams $5,400

The Rams face the Deshaun Watson less Texans this week. The Rams have one of the best run defenses in the league so I can’t see Lamar Miller doing much today and the same with Tom Savage. I expect them to stack the box and blitz Savage and make him beat them.

Chicago Bears 4,300

The Rams were my pay up option and th Bears are my pay down one. The bears face the Packers with Brett Hundly at the helm. The Packers offense has looked dead after Rodgers went down. Look for that trend to continue today against Chicago

K

Robbie Gould $4,500

I’m only running Robbie Gould this week, like I usually do. He is normally low owned and always minimum salary. Saving money here helps pay up for more important spots.
