Six Things You Shouldn’t Be Shocked To See In First Round Of 2018 NFL Draft

NFL Draft

1.) Expect a Lot of Trades

I am expecting a ton of movement on Thursday night. Looking at the last two drafts, all five QBs taken in the first round were traded up for. The Jets already traded up to get into position for one. I would look at picks 2, 4, and 6 especially to garner a lot of interest. QB needy teams such as Arizona, Buffalo, Miami, and New England are some teams to watch. Then there are the teams that don’t pick again until round four. Those teams are Seattle and Philadelphia. Look for them to potentially move down to try and get some picks on day two in return. Still there are other teams with a lot of ammo such as Cleveland, New England, Buffalo, and Indianapolis that could package up several day two picks to move back into the first. This still doesn’t include a team trading up for someone they like that is falling. Thursday should be a perfect storm for trades.
