Preview: Indians Look to Bounce Back in Final 2018 Home Battle with Twins

1. Mike Clevinger Looking For 10th Win

Indians starter Mike Clevinger will be back on the mound for the team on Thursday, coming off an outing after he went six innings giving up earned runs on four hits while walking two and striking out eight against the Royals in Kansas City.

Clevinger has thrown twice against the Twins in 2018, his last time out looking impressive, going seven innings, allowing a run on five hits with a walk and five K’s back on August 8th at Progressive Field.

In his last seven outings dating back to July 22nd, Clevinger has given up just 13 earned runs in 41.2 innings, not allowing more than three runs in any of those outings.

He will look to put the Twins away and take home the series for the Tribe in the afternoon effort.
