Saturday Indians starter Carlos Carassco will be making his 18th start of the season and 19th appearance overall, as he picked up the win in the final game before the break, coming on in relief against the Yankees and picking up the win.
In that win over the Yankees, he was dominant in the one inning of work, throwing an inning out of the bullpen striking out 2 batters before Michael Brantley’s HR put the team ahead for good in the bottom of the 8th.
Carrasco comes into tonight’s game with nine career appearances and seven starts (2-3, 6.64) against the Rangers.
