Prediction:
If I were to guess what two players of the four on the bubble make the team, I would say Jared Cunningham and Austin Daye. No disrespect to Harris and Cook, but they have more development they can achieve in the D-League, and Cunningham has been the most impressive in preseason action.
Daye has not overwhelmed anyone with his talent this preseason, but is a reliable, experienced veteran that Blatt can trust to be a professional. Unless Thompson signs at the last minute, the lack of depth at power forward is what makes Daye the most likely of the players on the bubble to make the cut.
Until Irving and Shumpert are healthy, and as long as Thompson is absent, get to know some of these players mentioned above. LeBron and Love will be rested often and we could see these role players on the floor a good percentage of the time.
