Players To Love And Hate In Week 4 Of Fantasy Football

LeGarrette Blount

RB LeGarrette Blount NE $7,500
The Patriots just have to survive one more week without Brady and give their injured QBs a rest. The easiest way to do that is keep feeding Blount. On the year he has 24, 29, and 22 carries. He’s a workhorse that scores points.

WR Brandin Cooks NO $8,200
Cooks has not lived up to his week one scoring but it is hard to after one big TD. The Saints have a favorable matchup for their offense in this one. San Diego is 29th against the pass and with Brees being one of the top QBs on the year and Snead banged up Cooks could be the target for the offense to get going.

WR Marvin Jones DET $7,600
I think it is safe to say almost everybody will start Jones after his 200 yard performance last week. He has increased his receiving yards each week this year and has really locked into being Stafford’s top weapon.

WR Tyrell Williams SD $6,400
Williams offers a good option from a value standpoint. The Chargers offense is thinning out of weapons and this is the week to take advantage of a weak defense. He has at least 60 receiving yards in every game and saw nine targets last week. Sounds like a good deal for me.

TE Dennis Pitta BAL $5,400
The Raiders defense has traditionally struggled against TEs. The defense on the year has also really struggled for Oakland. Pitta is averaging 10 targets a game the last two weeks and the Ravens are at home against a West Coast team coming east. I like this matchup a lot.

K Dustin Hopkins WAS $4,500
A fantasy kicker that has scored in the double digits every game this year and goes up against one of the worst defenses in the NFL sounds like a no-brainer to me for the cheapest kicker out there.

DEF Patriots $4,500
The Patriots defense has gotten better and better each week and I like them the most for their value this week. The Bills are without Sammy Watkins and their other options are limited. Buffalo does a lot of their damage from big plays but without the big play guys the Patriots defense may prove a winner.
