2. Facing Liriano
Tigers starter Franciso Liriano secured his fifth win of the season. He gave up three runs on five hits in seven innings of work. Liriano issue started in the first inning where he gave up an RBI single to yandy Diaz to score Greg Allen who doubled down the right-field line.
Then in the fourth inning, Diaz began the inning with a double. Eric Haase hit an RBI single to left to make it 2-1. Then became a 3-1 ballgame when Erik Gonzalez connected on an RBI groundout to score Guyer.
