1. Road Warriors

The Indians will enter Sunday’s finale against the Mariners looking for their 53rd road win of 2017, this against just 28 losses if they can pull it off.

Consider last season the team was 41-39 on the road, their ability to play well in tough places and not just that but at times dominate is a reason many feel the Tribe might just steamroll their way to the World Series.

Last season the St.Louis Cardinals were the best team in baseball in terms of play on the road, going 48-33, and this season, two teams – Washington and Houston, have 47 wins away from their home parks, still five games back of what the Tribe has done to date on the road.

Think about this crazy stat – the Indians have gone 23-3 on the road since August 11th, and at one point went 15-1, numbers that in this day and age in Major League Baseball you just don’t see.

A win on Sunday will put a stamp on the Indians being heads and tails in 2017 the best team in all of baseball when it comes to playing on the road.
